“It’s Cool To Care” Awards
Light Up Durham will hand out its 2nd annual “It’s Cool To Care” Awards and recognize individuals who are doing great things on behalf of Durham’s youth on July 4th right before the fireworks display at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park!
If you want to nominate someone for an “It’s Cool To Care” Award, simply complete our nomination form and they will be considered for this very important and prestigious award.

Light Up Durham has "The brightest lights in town!"
Light Up Durham and the American Tobacco Campus will team up again this year to ‘light up’ the Lucky Strike water tower on December 5th. We will have more details later, so please check back.

One Day, Five Venues, Fifty Groups, 2,000 Youth!
On one special day, Saturday, December 6th, we will offer up top-notch entertainment by approximately 50 performing groups at 5 different performance venues…that’ll be nearly 2,000 talented youth ‘sharing their light’ with you!
