Mini-Grant Application Form

Light Up Durham is delighted to offer mini-grants to groups that perform at Light Up Durham events! If your group performed in a Light Up Durham event in 2007, complete the information below and we will give your application serious consideration.

Light Up Durham mini-grants will be awarded in amounts between $100 and $500.

Funding criteria include:

  • Support for events/programs/activities that directly impact the youth in your groups (sorry we cannot fund teacher/director training, conferences, etc.)
  • Support for events/programs/activities that are beyond the normal scope of work for your group: for example, special competitions, summer workshop or camp tuition or entry fees, that will broaden your group’s experience in their art.

Light Up Durham mini-grants will be given out in November of 2008; applications must be completed and received by Light Up Durham on or before October 3, 2008 in order to be considered for this round of funding.
